THE PROJECT AT A GLANCE · PLANO LANDSCAPING
This is a residential yard-to-lawn project. The photos show the installation result; rooting and lawn establishment continue after the sod is laid.
BEFORE
Tall vegetation had taken over the lawn areas around this Princeton home. The project would turn those areas into 7,265 square feet of TifTuf Bermuda while keeping the existing trees, walkways and landscape beds.
LAND CLEARING
The sequence begins with cutting back and clearing the overgrown vegetation. These ground-level views show the work progressing around the existing trees and the home.
SOIL PREPARATION
With the vegetation cleared, equipment and hand work prepared the lawn areas. Material was spread across the site, and sod pallets were staged as preparation continued.

The next aerial views show the prepared lawn areas along the fence, around the curved walkways and beside the landscape beds—before the sod went down.
INSTALLATION
Installation brought the green lawn into view. This aerial captures the work in progress, with new sod in place and a remaining strip of prepared ground still visible.

Fresh TifTuf Bermuda now covers the project lawn areas. These final aerials show the new sod around the home and retained trees, with watering underway. The visible seams are part of a newly installed lawn; rooting and establishment follow installation.
FROM THIS PROJECT TO YOUR PROPERTY
Start with the use you want from the space. Then assess the vegetation, access, ground conditions, sunlight and watering before choosing the work and the grass.
Look at what prevents you from using the lawn: tall vegetation, unwanted growth, old turf or ground that needs preparation. Send wide photos and close views of the problem areas. We can discuss whether clearing and new sod belong in the same scope; this project is an example of residential lawn preparation.
TifTuf Bermuda was installed on this project. Your grass choice needs its own assessment of sunlight, use and care. Compare Bermuda, St. Augustine and Zoysia before choosing. Irrigation is required for our sod installations.
The lawn area, vegetation to remove, access, surface preparation, grass selection and any separate drainage or irrigation work affect the scope. The 7,265 sq. ft. figure describes this project, not a standard package or price. Review our sod cost factors and request a quote for your property.
